The bill is per app, on monthly active users. The first 1,000 monthly active users on an app are free. After that, $6 per 1,000. Apps do not pool. The job is mobile push, and the card that belongs in the app. The card is drawn natively. Impressions are not billed. A new app starts free. With no users there is nothing to bill. The first 1,000 monthly active users on that app stay at $0. Operator: London App Studio Ltd, company number 13379239, ICO registration ZC166397, registered in England and Wales. One app crossing 1,000 monthly active users does not pull the others onto the invoice. A studio with twenty apps that each stay under 1,000 monthly active users pays nothing. The allowance is not a shared bucket. ## What a monthly active user is A monthly active user is a device that opened the app in the last 30 days. Push permission is not required. A device that refused push and still opened the app is counted. A device that has not opened the app for 30 days is not, even if push is allowed. There is no proration inside a 1,000-device block. In-app impressions are not added to the count. The panel keeps the day a device first opened, and the later days it opened. For devices first seen on one day, it shows the share that opened the app again on day 1, on day 7, and on day 30. That is the last-open record, kept by day. It is not how long a session lasted, not a custom event, and not a list of people. ## How a send works An agent at https://mcp.xulo.io/mcp can draft the campaign, including the in-app design record. A person approves the send. Writing the draft does not send it. The tool opens a sign-in screen, you allow it, and it comes back. Continue, Cursor, OpenAI, Windsurf, Anthropic, Google Antigravity, Cline, and Grok use that same address. The agent can create the app, store the Apple key, and import an audience from OneSignal, Pushwoosh, or a CSV. The audience is a segment, a tag, an external id, or the install id. A purchase is an amount, a currency, and an order id. The person page keeps the lifetime total. A segment can use the last 24 hours, the last 7 days, the last 30 days, or all time. The dashboard and the agent write the same draft. Native iOS push goes out through APNs. The in-app card is fetched on an open, or when the app calls a name you set. An open can be the next one, every open, the first open, the open you number, or the open after a specific push. The call is one line of code at that moment, and it is not stored. The card is not delivered as a push. ## Comparisons Each comparison is its own argument. OneSignal bills monthly active users on the organization, plus a platform fee. Pushwoosh shares one free thousand of monthly active users across the account. WonderPush counts an opted-in device that may never open the app. Xulo counts monthly active users on each app. Rival pricing notes were checked on 7 October 2026. ## Questions ### What does Xulo do? It sends mobile push and shows a native in-app card. The bill is per app, on monthly active users. The first 1,000 monthly active users on an app are free. After that, $6 per 1,000. Apps do not pool. ### What counts as a monthly active user? A monthly active user is a device that opened the app in the last 30 days. The first 1,000 monthly active users on that app stay at $0. The first 1,000 monthly active users on an app are free. After that, $6 per 1,000. Apps do not pool. A device that refused push and still opened the app is counted. A device that stays closed for 30 days drops off, even if push is allowed. ### Do several apps share one free allowance? No. Each app has its own 1,000 free monthly active users, then its own $6 blocks. A second app at 400 is $0 even when the first app is already paid. ### What does 1,600 monthly active users cost? $6. The first 1,000 are free. 1,001 to 2,000 is one block. 3,200 is three paid thousands, $18. A block is not prorated. ### Does the app stop at 1,000? No. Crossing 1,000 does not pause the app or the sends. The next block is $6, and it is billed. The product keeps working. ### Are in-app impressions on the bill? No. Impressions, dismisses, and button clicks are not a separate charge. A device that opened the app in the last 30 days is already a monthly active user, including when it refused push. ### Do an A/B test or a local-time send cost extra? No. Two variants, and a clock time on each device, use the same per-app price. They do not add a fee. ### Can I pay this today? Sign in opens an organization and its apps. A new app starts free. With no users there is nothing to bill. The first 1,000 monthly active users on that app stay at $0. ### Is there a lower rate when switching? For the first 12 months, an app moving from OneSignal, Pushwoosh, or WonderPush uses a block set by the monthly active users on that invoice: $6 up to 5,000, $5 from 5,001 to 25,000, $4 from 25,001 to 100,000, and $3 above 100,000. The first 1,000 monthly active users on the app stay free. After 12 months the block is $6. The calculator on this page shows the published rate. ### Is a started thousand prorated? No. 1,001 monthly active users is the same $6 as 2,000. The next device after 2,000 starts another $6 block. # London App Studio Ltd Xulo is published by London App Studio Ltd. The image is attached on the device. If the image fails, the text still arrives. The link can be a screen inside the app or an https address. The app opens the screen when it knows the address. Otherwise an https link opens in the system browser. - Expanded view shows the large image, the title, the body, and a button. - The app decides which screen opens. ## The card inside the app The card is drawn natively in the app. It can show when the app comes to the foreground, or when the app calls a name you set. An open is coming to the foreground. Coming forward again while the app is already open does not count. The call is one line of code at the moment you choose, and it is not stored. It is not a web page, and it is not sent through Apple’s push service. The panel and an agent fill the same record: image, title, body, one button, link, colors, a close button, and a place. The place is the center, full screen, a top banner, or a bottom banner. One card shows at a time. If several match, the newest published card wins. - Once, on the next open. - On every open. - On the first open only. - On the open you number, once. - After a specific push, on the next open of devices that received it. - When the app calls a name you set. Once on that device, or on every call. ## Who receives it Push and the card use the same audience. A segment, a tag, an external id, the install id, or a test device. Xulo keeps an install id that survives a token refresh. A reinstall gets a new one. An external id is optional and does not replace the install id. Tags are text keys and values the app writes. A purchase is an amount, a currency, and an order id. The person page keeps the lifetime total for each currency. A segment picks the last 24 hours, the last 7 days, the last 30 days, or all time: people who spent, people who did not, or people who spent at least an amount in one currency. - Subscribed. - Opened in the last 7 days. - Not opened for 30 days. - Spent at least an amount, in a window. - Test devices. - Then language, country, app version, and tag. ## Who comes back The panel keeps the day a device first opened, and the later days it opened. For devices first seen on one day, it shows the share that opened the app again on day 1, on day 7, and on day 30. That is the last-open record, kept by day. It is not how long a session lasted. It is not a custom event. It is not a list of people. - Day 1. - Day 7. - Day 30. - Not a person list. ## A person sends The panel, or an agent in Continue, Cursor, OpenAI, Windsurf, Anthropic, Google Antigravity, or Cline, can draft the message, the audience, and the card. The draft includes a count of who would receive it. One address works in all of them. A person says yes. Then it sends. Writing the draft does not send it. The bill stays per app even when one key can draft for every app in the account. - An existing mobile push list can be brought into the panel. - Crossing 1,000 monthly active users does not stop the app. - Two variants can share one send. The audience is split evenly. - A scheduled push can arrive at a local time on each device. ## One SDK Mobile push and the in-app card are one SDK, for a native iOS app. The app adds it once. There is no second package for the card. That SDK registers the device, keeps the install id, shows the notification, and draws the card. ## How they work together A push can stand on its own. The card can stand on its own. They can also follow each other. After a specific push, the card can show on the next open of the devices that received that push. An open is the app coming to the foreground. Coming forward again while the app is already open does not count. The card can show once on the next open, on every open, on the first open only, or on the open you number, once. You write that number in the panel. It can also show when the app calls a name you set, once on that device or on every call. The call is not stored. If the app never calls the name, that card does not show. It is not sent through Apple’s push service. One card shows at a time. If several match, the newest published card wins. ## The same audience Push and the card use the same audience. A segment, a tag, an external id, the install id, or a test device. A purchase keeps a lifetime total, and a segment can limit that spend to the last 24 hours, the last 7 days, the last 30 days, or all time. Xulo keeps an install id that survives a token refresh. A reinstall gets a new one. An external id is optional and does not replace the install id. It does not add a fee. ## A person sends The panel, or an agent at https://mcp.xulo.io/mcp, can draft the message, the audience, and the card. The draft includes a count of who would receive it. A person says yes. Then it sends. Writing the draft does not send it. A push or a card can be two variants, split evenly across the audience. A scheduled push can also be a clock time on each device, taken from the device settings when the app opens. ## One price The first 1,000 monthly active users on an app are free. After that, $6 per 1,000. Apps do not pool. In-app impressions are not billed. ## Questions ### What does Xulo offer? Mobile push and a native in-app card, in one SDK. They share an audience. The first 1,000 monthly active users on an app are free. After that, $6 per 1,000. Apps do not pool. ### Do mobile push and in-app need two SDKs? No. Both are in one SDK for a native iOS app. The app adds it once. There is no second package for the card. ### Do mobile push and in-app use the same audience? Yes. A segment, a tag, an external id, the install id, or a test device can receive either. The card is not sent through Apple’s push service. ### Can a segment use what someone has spent? Yes. A purchase is an amount, a currency, and an order id. The person page keeps the lifetime total for each currency. A segment picks the last 24 hours, the last 7 days, the last 30 days, or all time. Inside that window it can be people who spent, people who did not, or people who spent at least an amount in one currency. Currencies are not converted. ### Can a shop send its orders? Yes. The iOS SDK records a purchase on the open install. A shop does not run the SDK. Its server sends the same record with an external id when the order is paid. Phones and the shop add up when they share that id. The same order id replaces the previous amount, so a refund is that order written again with what remains. ### What does the return rate show? For devices first seen on one day, the share that opened the app again on day 1, on day 7, and on day 30. The panel keeps the first open day and the later open days. That is the last-open record, kept by day. ### Is the return rate a list of people? No. It is not a list of people, not how long a session lasted, and not a custom event. It does not add a fee. ### Can a push be followed by the card? Yes. After a specific push, the card can show on the next open of the devices that received that push. An open is the app coming to the foreground. The card can also show once on the next open, on every open, on the first open, on the open you number, or when the app calls a name you set. That call is not stored. ### Who sends? The panel or an agent at https://mcp.xulo.io/mcp can draft the message, the audience, and the card. A person says yes. Writing the draft does not send it. The send can be two variants, or a clock time in each device’s timezone. ### Does a new app pay? A new app starts free. With no users there is nothing to bill. The first 1,000 monthly active users on that app stay at $0. # Xulo vs OneSignal Updated: 8 October 2026 OneSignal’s Growth plan, checked on onesignal.com/pricing on 8 October 2026, is a $19 monthly platform fee plus $0.012 per monthly active user. A monthly active user is a mobile subscription that used the app in the last 30 days, whether or not it allowed push. Xulo uses that same cut, on each app, with no platform fee. The first 1,000 monthly active users on an app are free. After that, $6 per 1,000. Apps do not pool. | | OneSignal | Xulo | | --- | --- | --- | | What is counted | A monthly active user: a subscription that used the app in the last 30 days. No automatic winner. | | Local time | Timezone delivery is listed on the pricing page. | A scheduled push can arrive at a clock time on each device. The timezone is the device setting, read when the app opens. Not location, and not the network address. | ## Four bills, same published rates OneSignal figures use the Growth list price checked on 8 October 2026: $19 plus $0.012 per monthly active user on the organization. Xulo figures are the same monthly active users, priced on each app. ### Under a thousand One app. 800 monthly active users. OneSignal: $0 Xulo: $0 Both free tiers cover this. Theirs is 1,000 monthly active users on the organization. Ours is 1,000 monthly active users on the app. ### One app, past the thousand 1,600 monthly active users on one app. OneSignal: $38.20 Xulo: $6 $19 plus 1,600 × $0.012. Xulo is the $6 block. A device that refused push and still opened the app is on both bills. ### Two apps 900 monthly active users on each of two apps. OneSignal: $40.60 Xulo: $0 1,800 monthly active users on one organization: $19 plus 1,800 × $0.012. Each Xulo app is still inside its own free thousand. ### One larger app 3,200 monthly active users on one app. OneSignal: $57.40 Xulo: $18 $19 plus 3,200 × $0.012. Xulo is three paid thousands, $18. Blocks are not prorated. ## The monthly active user is the same cut OneSignal’s own pricing page defines a monthly active user as a mobile subscription that was active in the app in the last 30 days, regardless of push permission. In-app messages are why that count includes a device that refused push. Xulo counts the same device. A monthly active user is a device that opened the app in the last 30 days. Push permission is not required. The card is shown when the app opens, including without push permission. An impression is not a separate charge, because that device is already a monthly active user. ## The platform fee sits on top Past the free 1,000, Growth adds $19 before the $0.012 line. Xulo has no fee of that kind. The first paid block on an app is $6, for the monthly active users from 1,001 to 2,000. The free 1,000 on OneSignal sits on the organization, so a second app spends it. On Xulo each app starts its own thousand. Professional and Enterprise are custom annual prices. The bills above use the public Growth rate, not a negotiated discount. ## Questions ### How does Xulo bill compared with OneSignal? Both count a monthly active user as a device that used the app in the last 30 days, whether or not it allowed push. Xulo bills each app: the first 1,000 are free, then $6 per 1,000, with no platform fee. OneSignal Growth, checked 8 October 2026, is $19 a month plus $0.012 per monthly active user on the organization. ### Do several apps share one OneSignal allowance? The free 1,000 monthly active users sit on the organization. Two apps are added together. On Xulo, each app has its own 1,000 free monthly active users. ### Does push permission change the monthly active user count? No, on either bill. A device that refused push and opened the app in the last 30 days is a monthly active user. A device that allowed push and then stayed closed for 30 days is not. ### Where do the OneSignal prices on this page come from? onesignal.com/pricing, checked 8 October 2026. Free mobile push up to 1,000 monthly active users. Growth starts at $19 a month plus $0.012 per monthly active user. In-app is included with mobile push on that same count. ## Switch from OneSignal OneSignal Growth bills the organization $19 plus $0.012 per monthly active user. Write with the MAU on that invoice. For the first 12 months, the block on each app follows the band for that MAU. The bill is monthly active users on the app, and the first 1,000 stay free. After 12 months the block is $6. The band is the monthly active users on the current invoice. It sets the block for the first 12 months. - Up to 5,000: $6 per 1,000 monthly active users - 5,001 to 25,000: $5 per 1,000 monthly active users - 25,001 to 100,000: $4 per 1,000 monthly active users - Over 100,000: $3 per 1,000 monthly active users The published $6 is already under the Growth list price at these sizes. The band is a further cut for the first year. It is not a match for a private OneSignal discount. ## Keep comparing - Pushwoosh: One free thousand for the whole account, against a free thousand on every app. https://xulo.io/vs/pushwoosh - WonderPush: €1 from the first opted-in device, against a free thousand of monthly active users. https://xulo.io/vs/wonderpush # Xulo vs Pushwoosh Updated: 8 October 2026 Pushwoosh bills the account, not the app. On the Push only plan, checked on pushwoosh.com/pricing on 8 October 2026, the first 1,000 monthly active users are free and then the rate is $7 per 1,000, and that free thousand is shared. Xulo starts the thousand again on every app, then charges $6. | | Pushwoosh | Xulo | | --- | --- | --- | | The first 1,000 | One free thousand for the account. Apps share it. | A free thousand on every app. | | The rate after that | $7 per 1,000 monthly active users. Published as a limited offer through 31 December 2026. | $6 per 1,000 monthly active users on that app. No end date on the rate. | | Who is counted | Monthly active users on the account. | Monthly active users on the app. A monthly active user opened the app in the last 30 days. Push permission is not required. | | A second app at 800 | It spends the account’s free thousand. | $0. It has its own thousand. | | In-app | Included on Push only, inside the same account count. | Shown when the app opens, including without push permission. Impressions are not a separate charge. | | A/B test | A/B/n splits inside Customer Journeys, with an automatic winner against a goal. | Two variants. The audience is split evenly. A person approves. Xulo does not pick the winner. | | Local time | A scheduled push can use the subscriber’s device timezone, read from the device settings when the app opens. Not from GPS or an IP address. | The same idea. The SDK reads the device timezone when the app opens. A device that has never opened has no timezone yet, and none is guessed. | ## Where the shared thousand shows up Pushwoosh figures are the Push only rate checked on 8 October 2026: first 1,000 monthly active users free on the account, then $7 per 1,000. The offer is published through 31 December 2026. Xulo figures are the per-app blocks. ### One small app 800 monthly active users on one app. Pushwoosh: $0 Xulo: $0 Both are inside a free thousand. The difference is who owns that thousand. ### Two apps 800 on the first app, 800 on the second. Pushwoosh: $7 Xulo: $0 The account now has 1,600. The shared free thousand is spent, and one $7 block covers the rest. Each Xulo app is still at 800 monthly active users, so each bill is $0. ### One app at 3,200 3,200 monthly active users on a single app. Pushwoosh: $21 Xulo: $18 3,200 on the account is three paid thousands after the free one, at $7. Xulo is three paid thousands on that app, at $6. A second app does not enter this number. ### A quiet second app The first app is at 2,400 monthly active users. The second has 400. Pushwoosh: $14 Xulo: $12 On Xulo the first app is $12 and the second app is $0. On the account the 400 is added to the 2,400, so the bill is $14. ## The $7 rate is a dated offer Pushwoosh publishes Push only at $7 per 1,000 monthly active users, with the first 1,000 free, as a limited offer through 31 December 2026. The same page prices Omnichannel at $13 per 1,000 and Email only at $5 per 1,000 recipients. Xulo does not have a second rate for another channel. The first 1,000 monthly active users on an app are free. After that, $6 per 1,000. Apps do not pool. The in-app card is not a line on that bill. ## An account thousand and an app thousand are not the same object Twenty apps at 400 monthly active users each are $0 on Xulo. On an account meter those apps are 8,000 in one bucket, well past a single free thousand. A monthly active user is a device that opened the app in the last 30 days. Push permission is not required. A device that stayed closed for 30 days leaves the count, even if push is still allowed. A device that refused push and opened the app stays on it. ## Questions ### Does Xulo share one free tier across apps? No. The first 1,000 monthly active users are free on each app. A second app does not spend the first app’s allowance. Pushwoosh Push only, checked 8 October 2026, puts the free thousand on the account. ### What does Pushwoosh charge after the free thousand? Push only is $7 per 1,000 monthly active users on the account, published as a limited offer through 31 December 2026. Xulo is $6 per 1,000 monthly active users on the app, with no platform fee. ### Do twenty small apps share one Pushwoosh thousand? Yes. The free thousand belongs to the account, so the apps are added together. On Xulo each of those apps has its own 1,000 free monthly active users. ### Does Pushwoosh pick an A/B winner? Pushwoosh, checked 8 October 2026, runs A/B/n inside journeys and can pick a winner. A Xulo send is two variants, split evenly. A person still approves. Xulo does not pick a winner. ## Switch from Pushwoosh Pushwoosh Push only, checked 8 October 2026, is $7 per 1,000 monthly active users on the account after one shared free thousand, through 31 December 2026. Write with the MAU on that invoice. For the first 12 months, each app uses the band for that MAU. The bill is monthly active users on that app. After 12 months the block is $6. The band is the monthly active users on the current invoice. It sets the block for the first 12 months. - Up to 5,000: $6 per 1,000 monthly active users - 5,001 to 25,000: $5 per 1,000 monthly active users - 25,001 to 100,000: $4 per 1,000 monthly active users - Over 100,000: $3 per 1,000 monthly active users The MAU on the invoice sets the band. It does not merge the apps into one count. A second app still has its own free thousand. ## Keep comparing - OneSignal: A $19 platform fee on the organization’s monthly active users, against $6 blocks on each app. https://xulo.io/vs/onesignal - WonderPush: €1 from the first opted-in device, against a free thousand of monthly active users. https://xulo.io/vs/wonderpush # Xulo vs WonderPush Updated: 8 October 2026 WonderPush, checked on docs.wonderpush.com on 8 October 2026, charges €1 a month for 1 to 1,000 subscribers and another €1 for each further thousand. A subscriber is a device that opted in. Opening the app is not part of that definition. An empty account is €0, and there is a 14-day trial. Xulo does not start the meter at the first opt-in. A monthly active user opened the app in the last 30 days. | | WonderPush | Xulo | | --- | --- | --- | | The first device | €1 for the first 1 to 1,000 subscribers. Zero subscribers is free. | The first 1,000 monthly active users on the app are $0. | | Who is a subscriber | A device that opted in. Not location, and not the network address. | ## The opt-in bill and the open bill WonderPush prices are the published steps checked on 8 October 2026: €1 for 1–1,000 subscribers, €2 for 1,001–2,000, €5 for 4,001–5,000. A subscriber has opted in. Xulo prices monthly active users, the devices that opened the app in the last 30 days. ### Opted in, then quiet 800 devices opted in. None of them opened the app in the last 30 days. WonderPush: €1 Xulo: $0 They are subscribers there. They are not monthly active users here, so they are not on the bill. ### One small app that does open 800 devices opted in and opened the app. WonderPush: €1 Xulo: $0 Their first thousand already costs €1. Ours is still inside the free thousand. ### When their sticker is lower 1,600 devices opted in, and every one of them also opened the app. One app. WonderPush: €2 Xulo: $6 €2 against $6. This is the row where the counts match. The moment some of those 1,600 stop opening the app, they stay on the WonderPush invoice and leave the Xulo invoice. ### A larger list, a smaller audience 5,000 opted-in devices. 800 of them opened the app in the last 30 days. WonderPush: €5 Xulo: $0 WonderPush bills the 5,000. Xulo bills the 800, which is inside the free thousand. ### Two apps 800 opted-in, opened devices on each of two apps. WonderPush: €2 Xulo: $0 The same device in two apps is two subscribers on their organization. 1,600 subscribers is the €2 step. Each Xulo app is its own free thousand. ## Opt-in is not the same event as an open WonderPush defines a subscriber as a device that agreed to receive notifications. Unsubscribed devices are excluded. The definition does not ask whether the app was opened this month. A monthly active user is a device that opened the app in the last 30 days. Push permission is not required. A device that opted in and then went quiet drops off after 30 days, and stays on the WonderPush bill. A device that opened and refused push is the other way around: it is a monthly active user here, and it is not a subscriber there. ## The €1 steps are real Their table is linear: €1, €2, €3, and so on, one euro per thousand subscribers, starting at the first subscriber. A 14-day trial comes first. After that, an app with users is on the table. On a list where every opted-in device also opened the app, 1,600 people is €2 there and $6 here. Xulo is the lower bill when part of the list has gone quiet, and when a second app would otherwise be added onto the same subscriber total. ## Questions ### Does Xulo charge for a subscriber who never opens the app? No. A monthly active user opened the app in the last 30 days. An opted-in device that stays closed is not on the bill. WonderPush still counts that device as a subscriber. A device that opened and refused push is counted here and is not a WonderPush subscriber. ### Where does the WonderPush price on this page come from? docs.wonderpush.com and wonderpush.com/pricing, checked 8 October 2026. €1 per month for 1 to 1,000 subscribers, then €1 more per thousand. A subscriber is an opted-in device. Zero subscribers is free, and there is a 14-day trial. ### Is Xulo cheaper than WonderPush at 1,600 opened devices? No. If all 1,600 opted in and opened the app, WonderPush is €2 and Xulo is $6. Xulo is the lower bill when some of those devices stop opening the app, because they leave the monthly active users and stay on the subscriber count. ### Do two WonderPush apps share one subscriber total? A subscriber is a device plus an app, and the organization is billed on that total. Two apps add together. On Xulo each app has its own 1,000 free monthly active users. ## Switch from WonderPush WonderPush, checked 8 October 2026, is €1 per started thousand of opted-in devices. Opening the app is not part of that count. Write with the MAU on that invoice. For the first 12 months, the block follows the band. The bill is monthly active users on each app. After 12 months the block is $6. The band is the monthly active users on the current invoice. It sets the block for the first 12 months. - Up to 5,000: $6 per 1,000 monthly active users - 5,001 to 25,000: $5 per 1,000 monthly active users - 25,001 to 100,000: $4 per 1,000 monthly active users - Over 100,000: $3 per 1,000 monthly active users At a small opted-in list, their sticker can be lower. 1,600 devices that opted in and opened the app are €2 there and $6 here. The band stays at $6 until the invoice shows more than 5,000 monthly active users. ## Keep comparing - OneSignal: A $19 platform fee on the organization’s monthly active users, against $6 blocks on each app. https://xulo.io/vs/onesignal - Pushwoosh: One free thousand for the whole account, against a free thousand on every app. https://xulo.io/vs/pushwoosh
